Join The Salvation Army as a Peer Support Worker focused on women's treatment in Vancouver. This on-call role provides critical overnight oversight and facilitates client support.

Under the direction of the Treatment Assistant Manager, you'll offer immediate support to clients, ensuring their comfort and adherence to recovery principles. Essential tasks include leading group discussions, medication administration, and maintaining a secure environment. Effective communication and recovery knowledge are key to client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate 12-step meetings for women
• Monitor client behavior and well-being
• Administer medications as needed
• Engage in after-hours intake processes
• Conduct regular client status checks

Requirements:
• Minimum one year experience in social services
• Certification in Peer Support Work preferred
• Solid understanding of mental health issues
• Proven integrity and confidentiality skills
• Proficiency in documentation and client databases
