As part of the Powerline Technician Apprenticeship Technical Training Program, you will teach Levels 1 through 4 with a focus on safety, rigging, and technical skills. The ideal candidate will possess an Interprovincial Red Seal and significant hands-on experience in the field. Responsibilities include regular student evaluations and participation in the development of educational materials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate training sessions on powerline techniques
• Cover essential topics like AC/DC theory and line safety
• Track and assess student progress meticulously
• Contribute to the creation of course content
• Demonstrate critical skills involved in powerline work
Requirements:
• Interprovincial Red Seal Powerline Technician required
• 5 to 10 years of industry experience
• Previous adult teaching experience preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite needed
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
