We are hiring a Maintenance Technician for a highly progressive facility in Langley, BC. This role offers the perfect balance of technical challenge and professional growth, involving everything from advanced diagnostics to complex equipment installations. You will join a collaborative, safety-first team dedicated to minimizing downtime and maximizing machinery uptime.

Go beyond reactive, day-to-day repairs—play a critical role in supporting operational efficiency, minimizing downtime, and driving a workplace culture focused on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

What You Bring

Technical Mastery: A robust mechanical and electro-mechanical foundation with proven experience maintaining, installing, aligning, and repairing automated industrial production machinery.

Advanced Troubleshooting: Sharp diagnostic skills to effectively isolate, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues.

Automation Exposure: Strong familiarity or working knowledge of CNC equipment, PLCs, VFDs, servos, and automated control systems.

Tool Proficiency: Complete confidence using standard precision measurement tools, multimeters, and hand/power tools independently.

Role Details Position: Maintenance Technician

Location: Langley, BC

Employment Type: Permanent, Full‑Time

Schedule: Sunday to Thursday

Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (nightshift)

Compensation: $33.00–$38.00/hour + $3.50 night shift premium

Candidates required to currently reside within British Columbia and hold valid legal eligibility to work full‑time in Canada to be considered for this position.

Relocation applicants will not be reviewed at this time.

Responsibilities

Read diagrams and schematics to determine repair or installation steps

Install and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical equipment

Inspect machinery for irregularities or malfunctions

Repair or replace defective parts and adjust machinery as needed

Fabricate parts using machine tools during setup or repairs

Ensure safety devices function properly after installations or repairs

Maintain and sharpen machine tools

Perform preventative maintenance and keep detailed service records

Clean and lubricate machinery regularly

Maintain a protected and clean work environment

Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing

Experience with automation; electrical knowledge is a plus

Familiarity with CNC machines and PLCs are an asset

Hands‑on experience with fans, motors, pumps, valves, hoists, compressors, cylinders, and conveyors





Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Comfortable working independently and under tight deadlines

Safety‑first mindset with knowledge of equipment safety standards

Flexibility to work various shifts when needed (e.g., vacation coverage)

Commitment to continuous improvement

Physical and Working Conditions

Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing physical tasks like reaching, kneeling, and standing for long periods

Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and weather elements

Work in a physically demanding workplace (lifting, kneeling, standing)

Must follow safety regulations and handle equipment and chemical hazards

Use of personal protective equipment provided
