This position requires robust interpersonal skills, knowledge of the Ontario Planning Act, and experience in planning or a related field. You'll engage in community development, prepare by-law amendments, and provide essential planning advice.

Key Responsibilities:
• Liaise with departments, agencies, and consultants
• Prepare by-law amendments related to Planning Act applications
• Negotiate development agreements with private developers




• Research and respond to public inquiries on planning
• Provide qualified planning advice for various committees

Requirements:
• University degree in Planning or related field
• Minimum two years experience in planning
• Membership in the Canadian Institute of Planners
