This role entails managing a case load of ten individuals aged 16-24 who struggle with complex issues. You will work closely with community Elders and team members to ensure protected, respectful, and effective service delivery. Your background in social services, combined with strong organizational skills, will be crucial for supporting youth towards independence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive, culturally appropriate services
• Participate actively in client assessments and reviews
• Establish rapport and define boundaries with clients
• Keep detailed and organized client case files
• Maintain service statistics and reports promptly
Requirements:
• Minimum education: College Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years in case management or social advocacy
• Familiarity with Ottawa’s Indigenous service networks
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Capacity to handle youth with diverse and complex needs
