Join CAMH as a Mental Health Social Worker focused on serving Francophone Black youth. This permanent position combines clinical interventions and community engagement.
In the Child, Youth, and Emerging Adult Program, your work will focus on assessing and treating young clients aged 12-24 struggling with mental health and addiction issues. You will be directly involved in providing client-centered care while also developing programs that empower community participation. Your bilingual skills will enhance communication and therapy delivery in both English and French.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver clinical assessments and develop treatment plans
• Facilitate group therapy sessions for youth
• Enhance collaboration with external agencies and stakeholders
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Mentor Master’s students in social work
Requirements:
• Proficient in English and French
• Background in youth mental health and addiction treatment
• Familiarity with social determinants affecting health
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Availability for evening and community work hours
