VIH Helicopters Ltd. is seeking a Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer for S-61 helicopters based in Campbell River, BC. This full-time role emphasizes aircraft maintenance and fieldwork across various locations.

You will report to the Director of Maintenance, performing comprehensive aircraft maintenance duties, including the installation, adjustment, and inspection of aircraft components. Ideal candidates have experience in Heli Logging or aerial firefighting and demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of Transport Canada requirements is crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install and test critical aircraft components
• Maintain hydraulic grapples and firefighting systems




• Troubleshoot and repair aircraft system defects
• Conduct inspections in both field and hangar settings
• Keep exact records of all work performed

Requirements:
• Transport Canada AME license in M1 or M2
• At least five years of heavy helicopter experience
• Familiarity with aircraft systems and publications
• Excellent troubleshooting and team collaboration skills
• Physically fit for the demands of the job
