Become the face of Indigenous recruitment at Humber Polytechnic in Ontario. As the Indigenous Recruitment Officer, you will drive engaging outreach initiatives while serving as a key resource for prospective students.
In this full-time support role, you will utilize your expertise in public relations and community engagement to foster relationships with Indigenous communities. Your experience will contribute to leveraging recruitment strategies that enhance student participation and meet enrollment targets. This position requires frequent travel and flexible hours to accommodate community events and recruitment activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement community-based recruitment initiatives for Indigenous learners
• Develop impactful presentations for outreach events
• Serve as a primary contact for prospective Indigenous students
• Collaborate with community stakeholders to enhance recruitment strategies
• Deliver pre-admission advising to individuals and groups
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years in outreach or student recruitment
• Lived experience as a First Nations, Métis, or Inuit person
• Robust public speaking and interpersonal skills
• Valid G driver’s license and reliable vehicle
