Be a vital advocate as the Coordinator for Prison In-Reach Education in Ontario. Focus on educating and supporting prisoners about HIV and Hep C risk and resources.

This Coordinator position centers on delivering impactful educational programming and case management for prisoners and ex-prisoners who face health risks. You will forge partnerships with community organizations to facilitate access to services and create educational materials with input from incarcerated individuals. Your role is crucial in developing non-stigmatizing services that promote health equity.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate harm reduction education on HIV and Hep C
• Provide case management and support for at-risk individuals
• Collaborate with community organizations for service integration




• Develop educational resources in partnership with prisoners
• Facilitate training to enhance service provider capabilities

Requirements:
• Understanding of social impacts on incarcerated individuals
• Experience working with marginalized communities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Strengthen health advocacy and education efforts for vulnerable populations within Ontario’s correctional facilities.
