As a Registered Nurse within the Specialty Programs of Assisted Living Alberta, you will directly contribute to the health and independence of pediatric clients. Your blend of case management and direct patient care involves assessing individual needs, developing family-centered care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. This role allows for impactful interventions in a variety of settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care to pediatric patients and families
• Execute comprehensive assessments and care plan adjustments
• Facilitate communication between clients and healthcare teams
• Participate in health promotion and education initiatives
• Support children with diverse medical and developmental needs
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• Registration eligibility with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
• Recent nursing experience preferred
• Ability to independently manage wide-ranging patient environments
