Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board is seeking a Student Support Monitor to ensure student safety and well-being. This temporary position focuses on attendance and behaviour oversight.

In this role, you will work directly with students under the guidance of the Principal. Your primary tasks will include monitoring students in various areas and assisting with behaviour and attendance management. Effective communication with administration and staff will be essential to promote a supportive school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise students during lunch periods and recess
• Monitor student attendance and behaviour, enforcing guidelines
• Refer students for additional support services as needed




• Prepare reports on attendance and behavioural issues
• Collaborate with school staff and families to enhance learning

Requirements:
• Secondary school completion plus relevant short courses
• At least three months working with adolescents in schools
• Proficiency in technology use
• Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Background check
• Embrace diversity and inclusiveness in education
