Northern Lights College is hiring a sessional instructor for PSYC 101, Introduction to Psychology 1, commencing September 2, 2026. Engage students through in-person and remote learning formats to foster academic growth.
We are looking for qualified instructors to support the delivery of critical psychology courses within our University Arts & Sciences Department. Candidates should have a Master’s Degree in Psychology and demonstrated expertise in Educational Psychology. Solid communication skills and a commitment to collaborative work are essential to ensure student motivation and learning success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver PSYC 101 in-person and via video conference
• Cover essential psychology topics and experimental design principles
• Promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Travel to neighboring campuses for course needs
• Engage with faculty and staff to enhance program delivery
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Psychology or equivalent
• Demonstrated expertise in Educational Psychology
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
