Join Lookout Housing and Health Society as a Community Outreach Worker in Surrey, helping those facing housing and health challenges. Provide vital support and advocacy to empower clients.

This casual outreach position reports directly to the Designated Manager and focuses on assisting disadvantaged adults with complex needs. With emphasis on independence, you'll work to secure and maintain stable living situations. Ideal candidates will have experience with community resources, mental health, and addiction support services, working flexible shifts throughout the week.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support adults in achieving independent living
• Assess and address challenges with tailored action plans




• Provide crisis intervention and emergency support
• Maintain accurate records and client statistics
• Train and support staff, volunteers, and students

Requirements:
• Relevant diploma or equivalent education and experience
• Current First Aid Level 1 certification
• Minimum two years recent relevant experience
• Robust stress management and organizational skills
• Criminal Record Clearance for vulnerable sector
