Influence young learners at Frank J. Mitchell Elementary School as a Full-Time K-6 Learning Services Teacher in Sparwood, BC. This temporary teaching role focuses on fostering inclusive education in a supportive environment.

The successful candidate will start on September 8, 2026, and will maintain responsibilities until December 18, 2026, or until the return of the incumbent. Applicants should have training or a degree in Learning Services or Inclusive Education, preferably hold BC Teacher Certification, and possess relevant elementary experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement inclusive education strategies
• Provide targeted support to K-6 students
• Engage with the school community and stakeholders




• Track and report on student learning objectives
• Collaborate with school staff to enhance educational outcomes

Requirements:
• Degree in Learning Services/Inclusive Education required
• Elementary teaching experience is advantageous
• BC Teacher Certification strongly preferred
• Robust skills in communication and teamwork
• Dedication to enhancing student learning experiences
