Shape the security of City of Regina’s facilities as a Journeyperson Carpenter Locksmith. Your expertise will support the installation and maintenance of essential locking systems and doors.

Reporting to the Trades Coordinator, this role requires a robust background in carpentry and locksmithing to maintain the integrity of civic buildings. You will collaborate on renovation projects and employ your problem-solving skills to address various technical challenges in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair locks and hardware on City buildings
• Collaborate in construction and renovation projects
• Interpret technical drawings and adhere to building codes
• Ensure a focus on safety and quality throughout
• Communicate effectively with team and tradespeople

Requirements:
• Journeyperson Certificate in Carpentry
• 4,000 hours of locksmith experience in the last five years
• In-depth knowledge of locking systems and standards
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with construction practices
