Who Are You? You’re an analytical, detail-oriented paid media professional with at least two years of experience managing Google Ads campaigns and a solid understanding of Meta advertising. You know how to turn performance data into clear decisions, manage multiple priorities without losing track of the details, and take real ownership of your work.
You also understand that strong client service matters just as much as campaign performance. You’re organized, proactive, comfortable managing client relationships, and genuinely care about delivering accurate, thoughtful work that drives results.
What's the Role? As a Paid Media Strategist, you’ll manage a portfolio of clients and lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of campaigns across Google Search, Display, YouTube, and Meta. You’ll oversee budgets, timelines, conversion tracking, performance analysis, and reporting while providing each client with a tailored experience.
You’ll collaborate with teams across Paid Media, Sales, Web Development, Social Media, Content, and SEO to create connected marketing strategies. You’ll also help improve internal processes, contribute to product development, and keep our campaigns current as platforms and best practices evolve.
Duties & Responsibilities Strategically plan, create, and oversee all facets of digital advertising campaigns, including PPC, Google Display, YouTube, and Meta ads.
Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering a tailored experience to meet their unique needs and ensure satisfaction and solid, long-term relationships.
Monitor and manage campaign finances diligently, ensuring adherence to budgets, forecasting monthly expenditures, and reconciling any financial discrepancies.
Uphold strict adherence to campaign deadlines, ensuring precise and accurate execution of all tasks.
Conduct detailed tracking, analysis, and reporting of website analytics using GA4 and other tools, as well as performance metrics for all paid advertising initiatives.
Implement conversion tracking by setting up and placing the appropriate codes on clients’ websites.
Work closely with cross-functional teams—including Paid Media,
Sales, Web Development, Social Media, Content, and SEO—to manage client accounts and implement tailored marketing strategies.
Support process innovation to ensure campaigns run efficiently and effectively.
Continuously stay informed on industry trends and best practices to maintain innovative and competitive marketing strategies.
Required Experience & Skills Must haves: Legally able to work in Canada and located in Calgary, AB
High level of ownership - Brings a high level of care and attention
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
2+ years of experience in SEM (Search Engine Marketing), managing PPC campaigns on Google, demonstrating a robust grasp of paid search strategies
2+ years in customer service, hospitality, or client relationship management
Experience with analytics and tracking tools such as GA4 and Google Tag Manager is an asset
Strong knowledge of Meta advertising
Analytical and data-driven mindset, with a good understanding of A/B testing and experience optimizing marketing strategies
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating strong project management and prioritization skills
Strong organizational skills to maintain systematic campaign management
Keen attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all aspects of work
Nice to have: Basic understanding of SEO principles is beneficial for integrating SEM with organic search strategies
Previous experience in an agency setting, demonstrating adaptability and client-focused experience
Experience with Fluency
