Join RTX as a Deburr Technician in Oakville, Ontario, focusing on precision and quality in aerospace component finishing. This weekend role demands skilled deburring and polishing work on landing gear components.
The selected candidate will be responsible for various tasks, including deburring, filing, and supporting quality initiatives. Reporting to the Weekend Day Shift Machine Shop Supervisor, your expertise in reading micrometers and following detailed production orders will be vital to maintaining standards. Participation in LEAN initiatives is also essential for continuous enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute ti-etching, deburring, and polishing of components
• Occasionally assist with robotic deburring processes
• Perform self-verification for quality control
• Maneuver large parts with overhead cranes
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement efforts
Requirements:
• High school diploma with 1-3 years of deburring experience
• Proven ability to use measuring tools like micrometers
• Must be eligible to work in Canada, complying with ITAR
• Experience reading production order cards and MPS/APS
• Previous experience with titanium is advantageous
