Become a Maintenance Technician at Stratford Hall, where your skills in facilities management will help maintain a safe and functional learning environment. Support event setups and repairs while working in a diverse team.
This permanent role involves performing essential maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical repairs, and preventative checks on equipment. You'll be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of our facilities and assisting with various campus events. Your ability to work both independently and in a team setting is important for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Timely completion of maintenance assignments on campus
• Support setups and take-downs for events
• Maintain cleanliness and assist with repairs
• Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC and plumbing
• Patrol grounds for safety and cleanliness
Requirements:
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• General computer proficiency with MS Office
• Certification in fall arrest and WHIMIS
• Experience with hand and power tools necessary
• Ability to respond to emergencies effectively
