Join MNP as a Senior Accountant within our dedicated Indigenous External Financial Advisory Services team. Use your accounting acumen to support over 270 Indigenous groups in Canada.

This position requires you to identify accounting needs and assist clients with tailored solutions for financial management and growth. You'll participate in activities related to financial literacy, capacity building, and compliance training like payroll and GST/PST. Your expertise will foster team-oriented relationships in a culturally rich environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work with clients on their accounting systems assessment
• Develop strategic plans for financial growth
• Assist with external financing and system setups




• Train clients on accounting functions and audit preparations
• Create finance procedure documentation and amendments

Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Accounting or Business
• CPA or equivalent designation preferred
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong accounting and finance knowledge
• Experience with Indigenous communities is a bonus
