Take on the role of Personal Property Underwriter at NFP, based in Ontario with a hybrid work setup. This full-time position focuses on growing a book of personal risks in the Lloyd’s market.

In this 35-hour weekly role, you will leverage your five-plus years of insurance expertise to manage a variety of personal property risks including homes and rentals. You’ll work with internal brokers, ensuring fair and competitive rates while analyzing risks and monitoring trends. Responsibilities also involve providing consistent and transparent documentation of all underwriting decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Underwrite and quote personal property risks
• Analyze and report on risk trends
• Collaborate closely with brokers and internal teams




• Maintain detailed documentation of underwriting decisions
• Stay updated on industry developments and guidelines

Requirements:
• Minimum five (5) years in the insurance industry
• Strong background in property underwriting preferred
• Proven customer service excellence
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
