Join NAC Constructors Ltd. as a Plumber Journeyperson and leverage your plumbing skills in heavy construction. You'll focus on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems.
As part of NAC's self-performing team, you will work under the Mechanical Superintendent, bringing your expertise to various projects across water and wastewater construction. The role demands knowledge in assembly and repair techniques, ensuring compliance with industry and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lay out and install 6" and 10" PVC storm sewer piping
• Cut, thread, and assemble pipes using specialized tools
• Inspect and test plumbing systems for quality assurance
• Plan pipe layout and installations according to specifications
• Modify and maintain plumbing systems while ensuring safety
Requirements:
• Certified Plumber with 2+ years in heavy construction
• Proficient in pipefitting for sizes 2" to 20"
• Valid WHMIS and safety certifications are mandatory
• Experience with large bore PVC piping is essential
• Ability to work independently and reliably
