Matchbox Consulting Group is seeking a Civil Project Coordinator on behalf of our client, a general contractor currently delivering an infrastructure project in Richmond and Delta, BC.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Conduct detailed analysis of contract documents and specifications to determine overall project requirements — including bonding, insurance, and associated risk factors
Plan, schedule, set objectives, and control activities during the construction phase, working closely with the Site Superintendent
Manage the project schedule with flexibility and adaptability, ensuring changes are implemented as the project demands
Communicate and uphold company policies and procedures with internal staff and all external parties
Handle full project administration — resolving issues, scheduling, shop drawing control, invoice approval, progress claims, and maintaining project files
Manage the preparation and monitoring of quality control documentation
Serve as the information link between the Site Superintendent and the corporate office
WHAT YOU BRING Engineering degree, diploma, or related education with a background working for a General Contractor
Minimum 3 years of progressive experience as a civil construction Project Coordinator
Experience with construction accounting and project management software (e.g. Explorer, HCSS)
Proficient in MS Office — Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience with AutoCAD or other design software is an asset
Strong leadership, project management,



and problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach
Valid BC Driver's License
Comfortable working autonomously on-site while maintaining clear communication with the broader team
