In this pivotal role at Magna, you will address manufacturing challenges by conducting studies and implementing solutions in the production of steel and aluminum assemblies. This position is well-suited for engineers with a focus on CAD design and continuous optimization, contributing to a culture of development and technological advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead initiatives aimed at reducing cycle time, downtime, and material waste
• Develop and oversee assembly processes and tooling solutions
• Support production with quality response meetings and troubleshooting
• Create necessary documentation including PFMEA’s and work instructions
• Manage project lifecycle from design to final launch and buy-off
Requirements:
• Degree in Mechanical Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
• At least five years of relevant experience in manufacturing
• Expert in CAD tools like NX, Catia, or Solidworks
• Familiarity with quality standards like IATF16949 and ISO14001
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
