Candidates with applications and software solutions must participate in the design, development, and delivery of custom applications.
They should perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
They must conduct research into software application products and services in support of development and purchasing efforts.
They must provide support for the testing of new and existing software applications under development or consideration for purchase.
Job requirement
Candidates must have a Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or suitable equivalent.
They must have a minimum of one year experience in the field of Information Systems.
They must have experience in any of the following areas like architecture, IT operations, Web-development, Mobile development, enterprise solutions, and telecommunications.
Work setting
Candidates must be able to attend City related meetings as required.
They will travel outside the office as required to meet with vendors as well as departments throughout the City of Vaughan.
