Enhance community health as a Nutritionist at Battle River Treaty 6 Health Centre Inc. Focus on delivering culturally relevant nutrition services across First Nations communities.
The role is ideal for a Registered Dietician skilled in developing public health strategies aimed at Little Pine, Lucky Man, Poundmaker, and Sweetgrass First Nations. A Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and significant community experience are essential, along with a keen understanding of the dietary needs of First Nations populations. This is a full time, permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess nutritional needs of community members
• Create and deliver educational programs on nutrition
• Collaborate with health professionals in program planning
• Support diabetes education and prevention initiatives
• Participate in community outreach and events
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition with internship
• Certification with Saskatchewan Dietitians Association
• Experience in public health or community nutrition
• Knowledge of Plains Cree Language preferred
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
