As the Community Relations Manager at Durham Community Health Centre, you will lead initiatives to strengthen community engagement and partnerships. Drive impactful health outcomes across the Durham Region in this full time, permanent role.
Your purpose will be to create a comprehensive community engagement strategy, building trust with key stakeholders while aligning outreach efforts with health initiatives. By representing DCHC in various forums, you will enhance the organization’s visibility and impact within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement comprehensive community engagement strategies
• Foster partnerships with local government and organizations
• Identify community priorities for outreach
• Monitor health policy developments and emerging trends
• Develop business cases for strategic collaborations
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations or similar
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in community relations
• Strong experience in strategic communications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with Ontario’s healthcare system
