Join York University as the Lead, Interprofessional Education Learning, and be instrumental in transforming medical education. Focus on curriculum development and IPE strategies for the MD Program.
This pivotal role calls for an experienced leader to implement IPE strategies sanctioned by the MD Curriculum Committee. You will work closely with the Associate Dean and various academic leads to ensure the curriculum meets rigorous accreditation standards and equity, diversity, and inclusion goals. This role enables you to shape competent, socially responsible physicians through innovative educational practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement an IPE curriculum map across MD Program
• Integrate IPE in case-based and clinical learning experiences
• Foster relationships with health organizations and educational partners
• Lead curriculum improvements and support learner accommodations
• Evaluate assessments in conjunction with program evaluation leaders
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Health Education or a related field
• Solid curriculum development experience in IPE
• Commitment to EDI principles in medical education
• Familiarity with curriculum structures and accreditation standards
• Effective leadership and collaboration skills
