What You'll Do
Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Site Supervisor is responsible for managing and overseeing all daily on-site construction activities. This role leads site crews to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. The Site Supervisor serves as the primary point of contact for the Project Manager, subcontractors, and the client, and is accountable for timely and accurate crew timesheet submission.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, schedules, budgets, and quality standards

Lead, supervise, and support site crews, fostering productivity, accountability, and teamwork

Ensure daily completion and submission of crew timesheets

Act as the primary liaison between the company, client representatives, subcontractors, and on-site personnel

Promote a strong safety culture by leading by example and ensuring adherence to company safety policies and procedures

Document and report all incidents and injuries, including completion of required reports and communication with the Safety Manager

Collaborate with the Project Manager to meet construction timelines through effective planning and use of manpower, materials, tools, and equipment

Monitor and maintain quality of workmanship in accordance with design documents and project requirements

Mentor, train, and motivate crew members to support continuous improvement and safe work practices

Coordinate with the Project Manager and client to review, track, and resolve RFIs (Requests for Information) and COs (Change Orders)

Support internal and external audits, inspections, and compliance activities

Ensure all electrical work complies with Technical Safety BC requirements,



applicable permits and inspections, and company standards

Additional Information

This position supports projects throughout British Columbia and will require travel within the province

This position is designated as safety-sensitive making employment contingent upon the successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, as well as criminal and general background checks.

Schedule & Compensation

Schedule rotations range from 4 days on / 3 days offor8 days on / 6 days off, etc

Standard workdays are 10 hours (7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.)

Overtime compensation will be provided in accordance with the British Columbia Employment Standards Act and/or applicable project agreements

Out-of-town work includes either all-inclusive camp accommodations or LOA and individual accommodations (project dependent)

A reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this role is $58.30 - $64.87 CAD at the time of this posting. Individual compensation within the range is determined based on job‑related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training

Requirements
What We're Looking For

Degree in Construction Management or a related field, or a Journeyperson Electrician designation

Valid class 5 driver's license or equivalent with an acceptable driving record

5-7 years of experience in the construction industry

Experience in BC Hydro or utility-related work preferred

PSSP/WPP, CAT5, or equivalent utility safety training considered an asset

High-voltage experience considered a strong asset

Thorough knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) with BC Amendments, Technical Safety BC requirements, and WorkSafeBC occupational health and safety regulations as they relate to electrical and utility work

Working knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality management, and interpretation of engineering drawings

Ability and willingness to work out of town

Able to travel including travelling to remote sites

Able to work in adverse weather conditions

Demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work within strict deadlines





Must show that you can work in a safe manner with respect to the environment, health and safety issues in the workplace
