Froude Management Inc. is looking for a full-time Foreman / Site Lead to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly capable with tools, enjoys a wide variety of hands‑on tasks, and can step into a leadership presence on site when needed where you will act as FMI’s primary point of contact on site when other management staff are unavailable.
Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of hands‑on construction and maintenance tasks, including carpentry, minor framing, drywall repairs, painting, flooring, and general finishing work
Act as FMI’s on‑site representative when required,
ensuring work progresses smoothly and issues are addressed promptly
Coordinate with subcontractors and trades to maintain workflow and site organization
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site in alignment with company safety standards
Identify deficiencies or potential issues on site and proactively resolve them
Assist with project scopes, repairs, deficiencies, and finishing scopes as needed
Support project teams with material handling, installations, and general site support
Communicate effectively with project managers, superintendents, and team members regarding site progress and concerns
Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are properly managed and maintained
Job Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of hands‑on construction experience in a similar role
Strong practical skills across multiple trades; carpentry experience is a major asset
Experience with finishing work such as drywall, painting, flooring, and general detailing
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also supporting a team environment
Comfortable taking initiative and acting as a lead presence on site when required
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to adapt to a variety of tasks and project types
A positive, reliable, and hardworking attitude
