As the Aquatics Coordinator, you will report directly to the Supervisor of Community Programs, overseeing the daily implementation of aquatic programs. This position requires 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a relevant field, with a focus on quality service, team development, and effective communication. Your ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities will ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee administration and supervision of aquatic programs
• Develop and assess aquatic program quality and effectiveness
• Mentor and evaluate the performance of aquatic staff
• Handle recruitment and training duties for aquatic teams
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and corporate policies
Requirements:
• Diploma in Recreation and Leisure Services or similar
• 1-3 years of experience in aquatic program supervision
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills
• Valid lifeguard and first aid certifications
• Ontario Class G driver’s license required
