Become the Cemetery Operations Team Leader for the City of Winter Haven, ensuring a well-maintained and serene environment. Your leadership will shape respectful cemetery services and grounds care.

In this full time Crew Leader II role, you will coordinate daily cemetery operations and lead a team dedicated to maintaining the grounds. This position encompasses supervising landscaping activities, guiding the team in burial procedures, and upholding stringent safety and compliance regulations. Your physical involvement in maintaining the cemetery will reinforce your leadership presence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily maintenance of cemetery facilities and grounds
• Direct burial operations and manage grave preparations
• Conduct employee training on safety and best practices




• Maintain essential records for burials and plots
• Operate landscaping equipment effectively

Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years of grounds maintenance experience with supervisory duties
• Preferred experience in cemetery operations of 2 years
• Florida Class B driver’s license with a clean record required
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors
