Join Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences as a full-time Registered Nurse 2 in the Complex General Psychiatry B unit. Provide vital support and care for patients experiencing psychiatric crises in Whitby, Ontario.

This in office role requires a compassionate RN to contribute to recovery-focused approaches in mental health. You will take on charge nurse responsibilities, engage with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure the execution of effective patient care strategies. This position will also involve leadership development and patient care facilitation in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization for patients
• Take charge nurse responsibilities in daily operations




• Work within a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive care
• Document and assess patient conditions diligently
• Promote a recovery philosophy in care plans

Requirements:
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current First Aid certification
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric nursing standards
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work night shifts effectively
