As part of WSP's Hydro & Dams team, you'll lead critical projects that support sustainable energy development. Your role includes conducting detailed geotechnical analyses and mentoring less experienced engineers. You'll be at the forefront of safety assessments and play a key part in ensuring the quality and compliance of construction activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and rehabilitate embankment dams, cofferdams, and dykes
• Conduct geotechnical analyses to develop practical design solutions
• Perform dam inspections and Safety Reviews to mitigate risks
• Support various project stages with technical expertise
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated solutions
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
• Demonstrated geotechnical engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of dam safety regulations
• P.Eng. registration in Ontario required
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
