Become an essential part of Southbridge as an IPAC Leader, dedicated to improving our residents' safety through robust infection control measures. This temporary full time role requires effective planning, implementation, and evaluation of infection prevention systems.

As IPAC Lead, you will guide the implementation of best practices, facilitate training for staff, and lead the management of outbreaks in collaboration with public health authorities. You'll also assess ongoing infection trends and fine-tune infection control strategies in alignment with regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and oversee infection prevention and control measures
• Develop and deliver training sessions for new employees




• Monitor compliance with infection guidelines and report findings
• Lead outbreak response efforts in conjunction with health units
• Conduct research to develop IPAC best practices

Requirements:
• RN/RPN degree or diploma preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years in infection control
• CIC-LTC certification required
• Experience in microbiology and epidemiology
• Bilingualism in English/French is a plus
