You will report directly to the ARC Manager, ensuring communication regarding operational updates and technical challenges. Your responsibilities will include developing welding applications, assisting with troubleshooting, and training internal staff and customers. A commitment to safety and compliance is essential in all aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate and manage ARC equipment and processes
• Collect and organize technical drawings and project documents
• Lead technical support efforts for R&D; and customer needs
• Develop training materials for effective knowledge sharing
• Maintain workspace cleanliness and orderliness using 5S principles
Requirements:
• Diploma in Welding Engineering or relevant higher education
• 3-5 years of direct welding experience
• CSA W178.2 Welding Inspector certification (mandatory or ongoing)
• Willing to travel 25% to support customers
• Ongoing skilled and technical development commitment
