Become a vital part of METRO’s HR team as a Human Resources Advisor in Ottawa, Ontario. This full-time role centers on managing employee relations, investigations, and effective recruitment.

You will support assigned stores and distribution centres by addressing grievances, conducting investigations, and providing HR guidance. Working closely with Store Operations, you’ll assist in the recruitment of key positions and ensure compliance with collective agreements. Your focus will be on enhancing processes and improving service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
• Guide management on collective agreement issues
• Evaluate grievances and collaborate on solutions
• Recruit for retail management and pharmacy roles
• Conduct detailed investigations into employee complaints

Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Human Resources
• 3-5 years in a retail setting
• CHRP designation preferred
• Solid communication skills
