Join IMP Aerospace & Defence as an Aerospace Avionics Engineer focused on innovative solutions near Halifax International Airport. This role encompasses engineering support and avionics life-cycle management.

You will report directly to the Avionics Engineering Supervisor, providing engineering expertise in the management of avionics/electrical systems. Your responsibilities include analyzing design issues, collaborating at technical meetings, and ensuring compliance with airworthiness standards. Robust organizational skills and technical knowledge are essential for optimizing project costs while maintaining system performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide engineering support and life-cycle management
• Carry out troubleshooting for aircraft maintenance




• Collaborate in preparation of proposals and Statements of Work
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and airworthiness
• Prepare and review technical reports and studies

Requirements:
• Degree in Avionics/Electrical Engineering
• Eligibility for ENS registration
• Experience in aerospace engineering preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software
• Must obtain necessary security clearances
