Take on a leading role as Housing Coordinator with the Ka:’yu:’k’t’h’/Che:k’tles7et’h’ First Nations. Manage housing initiatives and funding to strengthen community living.
Based in Houpsitas/Kyuquot or Campbell River, the Housing Coordinator works closely with the Housing Authority Board. Responsibilities include administering housing regulations, sourcing funding, and developing programs for community-specific projects. This position offers training and the chance to enhance housing solutions for KCFN members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain housing authority regulations
• Source and manage funding for housing projects
• Administer housing agreements with tenants
• Coordinate construction and permit applications
• Support annual housing inspections and reporting
Requirements:
• Education in property management or related field preferred
• Robust organizational and communication skills
• Background in funding/proposal writing a plus
• Experience with First Nations cultures and protocols
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
