Join Fraser Valley Child Development Centre as a Child Behaviour Consultant. This role involves providing tailored behavioural support services to empower children and their families in community settings.
Working part time under the supervision of the Family Services Department Leader, you will be integral to an Early Intervention team, conducting assessments and developing intervention plans. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to implement best practices and enhance service quality for clients facing behavioural challenges. Your expertise will significantly impact children's developmental progress.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify clients for Behaviour Consultation Services
• Conduct comprehensive behavioural assessments based on family needs
• Develop and document individualized intervention plans
• Provide hands-on training for intervention strategies
• Support the Therapy Assistant in plan implementation
Requirements:
• Master's degree in relevant field with ABA training
• At least three years' direct experience working with children
• Certification eligibility for RASP category A or BCBA
• Access to a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
• Strong organizational and time management skills
