We are looking for a Personal Support Worker in the Young Finch, Thornhill Areas
Adaptable working hours - select your own shifts

Job Summary





The Personal Support Worker/Caregiver is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services to meet the client’s needs.

Responsibilities
Meal preparation
Light housekeeping
Accompany clients on outings
Shopping and errands
Medication reminders
Ambulation and transporting clients
Provide companionship to clients
Ability to follow a care plan
Documentation and charting

Qualifications
Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (e.g., foreign-trained nurse, nursing student after one year of schooling)
Current CPR/First Aid certification
Current Police Record Check or Vulnerable Sector Screen, or willingness to obtain one
Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
Access to internet and mobile phone
Great support and teamwork skills
Dementia/Alzheimer's experience
Reliable and experienced
