As a Medical Examiner Investigator, you will join the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME). You will conduct investigations, manage cases, and assist medical professionals by providing essential information regarding death inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate sudden or unexplained deaths thoroughly
• Assist with death certificate completion and triage cases
• Document medical and circumstantial evidence meticulously
• Coordinate with law enforcement at death scenes
• Liaise with families and stakeholders for information
Requirements:
• University degree in related field or diploma
• Minimum 1 year of experience in emergency or investigative work
• Valid Class 5 driver's license required
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite
• Comfortable in emotionally challenging settings
