In this impactful role, you will supervise adult offenders while promoting accountability and positive change. As part of the Ministry of Corrections, you will collaborate with a supportive team to implement case plans aimed at reducing re-offending. The position demands effective monitoring and a proactive approach to maintaining safety in the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure safety through supervision and interaction with offenders
• Collaborate on offenders’ case plans for successful reintegration
• Lead personal development programming sessions
• Accurately interpret legislation and operational procedures
• Respond to incidents using appropriate intervention strategies
Requirements:
• Understanding of human behavior for effective change management
• Diploma in Law Enforcement or similar experience
• Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent required
• First Aid and CPR/AED certification necessary
• Essential skills in navigating ambiguity and managing self
