In this vital role, you will engage in focused assessments, individualized treatment planning, and assist clients in our chronic complex care units. You'll work primarily with adults experiencing significant health challenges, including those requiring specialized support for respiratory conditions. Supervision of staff and students is also part of your responsibilities, emphasizing teamwork and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive client assessments for rehabilitation
• Develop and execute tailored therapeutic plans
• Guide and supervise occupational therapy support staff
• Facilitate interventions aimed at increasing independence
• Support clients undergoing chronic complex health challenges
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited Master's program in Occupational Therapy
• Registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
• CAOT membership eligibility required
• Experience in continuing care settings is preferred
