Become a critical member of the Royal Canadian Artillery as a Gunner. This role involves operating and maintaining artillery systems, including howitzers and aerial systems, in various operational terrains.
As a Gunner in the military, you will play a vital role in surveillance and target acquisition. Your work will involve operating advanced artillery systems, maintaining a variety of military vehicles, and collaborating closely with combat arms like Infantry and Engineers. This challenging and energetic environment can see you deployed domestically or overseas, enhancing your skills in a range of operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate 105mm and 155mm howitzers effectively
• Maintain advanced surveillance and target acquisition systems
• Manage a range of military vehicles including TAPV and LAV 6.0
• Use command-post computers, laser range-finders, and fire control computers
• Work alongside combat arms in various terrains
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10 or Secondary 4 in Quebec
• Physical fitness as per Canadian Armed Forces standards
• No prior experience required for entry
• Willingness to relocate for postings
• Basic Military Qualification certification needed
Develop artillery expertise while working as a Gunner and support operations across diverse environments.
