The Durham District School Board is looking for a dedicated Long-Term Occasional Teacher for grades 3 and 4. This role requires a passion for teaching and an ability to develop lessons that align with the curriculum. As you assess student progress, foster a learning space where each student feels valued and included.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engaging curriculum-aligned lessons
• Assess and monitor student progress with constructive feedback
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom workplace

• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario teaching certificate (OCT) in good standing
• Subject qualifications in Primary/Junior (P/J)
• Committed to creating an inclusive educational environment
• Provide a current Criminal Background Check upon hire
• Emphasize collaboration and innovation in teaching approaches
