Enhance Indigenous student learning as a Learning Facilitator for Yukon University's EleV Program in Whitehorse. This dynamic role involves evaluation and strong community engagement.
As part of your role as Learning Facilitator, you will work with Yukon First Nations and various partners to refine programs that support Indigenous learning. Reporting to the EleV Manager, you will facilitate projects and evaluate outcomes, ensuring the educational framework aligns with Indigenous values and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead project evaluation and reflection activities
• Coordinate collaboration with First Nations and community partners
• Provide insights on Indigenous Data Sovereignty and historical contexts
• Share learning outcomes through engaging storytelling techniques
• Support relationships across Yukon University and with external partners
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in Education or related fields
• Two years of experience in learning facilitation or program management
• Solid understanding of Indigenous evaluation methods
• Experience in strategic planning and community engagement
• Preferred lived experience in Indigenous contexts
