Join Bethesda Community Services as a Full Time Occupational Therapist specializing in Children and Youth Services. Your role will focus on developmental assessments and providing therapeutic intervention.
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who can provide exceptional support to children and youth with developmental disabilities. Reporting to the Manager of Children’s Services, you will assess motor and sensory impairments and develop individualized treatment plans. Collaboration with community partners and caregivers is essential as you facilitate connections and implement effective strategies for growth and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform assessments and propose treatment recommendations
• Monitor and evaluate treatment plans regularly
• Coach caregivers and community partners
• Facilitate community connections and program registrations
• Develop training opportunities for staff and workshops for caregivers
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• 1-3 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Knowledge of community resources
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification
