Elevate community relations and donor engagement as an Engagement Specialist for Events at United Way Waterloo Region Communities. Drive the execution of events that support local missions and initiatives.

In this role, you will collaborate with team members to create and manage successful events that raise awareness and interaction with UWWRC’s mission. Your efforts will focus on increasing donor retention while promoting impactful community experiences and relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage event plans and timelines for execution
• Ensure logistical coordination for successful event delivery
• Engage with community agencies to promote donor opportunities
• Design engaging experiences for donors and stakeholders
• Create social media content to promote events

Requirements:
• Degree in hospitality, marketing, or event management preferred
• Minimum three years of relevant event management experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Solid organizational skills with a focus on deadlines
• Proficient in digital media tools and technology
