In this critical role, you’ll ensure that prescriptions are checked for accuracy and provide counseling on both prescription and OTC medications. Collaborating closely with Pharmacy Technicians, you’ll also engage in health management consultations and be part of cutting-edge pharmacy programs that adapt to community health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and compliance
• Advise customers on medications and health topics
• Conduct health management consulting sessions
• Work with Pharmacy Technicians to dispense medications
• Engage in SDM's cognitive/enhanced services initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Pharmacy degree required
• Valid license to practice in the province
• Strong interpersonal and listening skills
• Dedicated to providing excellent customer service
• Proficiency in pharmacy-related software
