As a Senior Program Facilitator, you will spend one year in the Dedicated Substance Abuse Treatment Unit. Your role involves supervising staff and volunteers, coordinating program requirements, and delivering Cognitive Behavioural Addiction Programs. Engaging in one-on-one counseling, you will also prepare inmate evaluations while liaising with various correctional and community resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and direction to treatment staff
• Facilitate addiction treatment programs effectively
• Conduct assessments and facilitate inmate referrals
• Review and evaluate inmate progress and evaluations
• Collaborate with community and correctional resources
Requirements:
• Solid understanding of addiction issues and treatment
• Proven interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships
• Experience in correctional program delivery
• Knowledge of current substance abuse methodologies
